Gender 

Gender is society’s attitude towards men and women based on ideas about ‘menness’ and ‘womennes’s (masculinity and feminity). It includes, for example, the way we perceive and treat persons based on whether we think they are a man a woman, heterosexual, gay, lesbian or transgender.
