Implanon

A thin match-stick size rod made of plasticcontaining hormones. It is inserted beneath the skin of the arm, and a very small amount of the hormone progestin goes into the blood stream all the time.

How to use

  • last  3 years or more depending on the type, must be removed by a clinician
