Tobacco

Tobacco is usually smoked in cigarette form. Tobacco leaves are often dipped or chewed with areca nuts so that nicotine is absorbed via gums in Myanmar as well. People use tobacco for many reasons (some young people start smoking cigarettes as they think it is fashionable, some use it as an oral fixation and appetite suppressant etc) but tobacco smoke can be easily addicted and very difficult to quit. Cigarette smoke can harm not only the user but also the side stream smokers.
