Although access to treatment is helping people to live long and healthy lives these days, HIV treatment comes with its own challenges. Effective use of the drugs requires commitment and effort because the drugs must be taken at exact times every single day. Some people may not respond well to some drugs while others may not react well to some drugs as well. There also may be serious side-effects in some cases too.

For HIV-infected people, treatment, care and support can make the difference. It will even help them to keep up with their treatments and face up to any challenges they may experience during the process of their treatment. (Stigmatizing them does not qualify as support, do you see?)
